Who we are

getqualifind.com and the QualiFind platform are operated by McNamara Consulting LLC, a Florida limited liability company, document number L25000101926, trading as QualiFind. "We" and "us" mean that company. By using the site you agree to these terms.

What QualiFind does, and what it does not

We connect Florida contractors with licensed qualifying agents, check both sides, and help with the paperwork that follows.

We are not a law firm, an employer, an insurer, a licensing processor or a licensing authority. The contractor and the qualifier each remain responsible for their own obligations under Florida licensing law and under the agreements they sign.

The guides and answers on this site are general information about Florida law. They are not legal advice. Speak to a Florida construction attorney before entering any qualifying arrangement.

Using the site

• Give us information that is complete and accurate, and only for a business you are authorized to act for.
• Keep your account password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done under your account.
• Do not try to reach another person's records, interfere with the site, or copy its content in bulk.
• Do not use the site to arrange anything that is really a license rental. We will end access for anyone who does.

For contractors: our connection fee

• Our connection fee starts at $3,000. We confirm your fee before you sign, and it is due when you sign the contractor agreement.
• If we have not made an introduction within 30 days, you can have all of it back, or ask us to keep looking. Your choice.
• Once we introduce you, the fee is not refundable. If you and the qualifier do not agree terms, or either of you withdraws, we introduce one more qualifier free within six months.
• If the licensing board refuses the application for a reason relating to the qualifier, we introduce one more qualifier free within six months of the refusal. If it is refused because your own information was missing, late or wrong, nothing is refunded and no replacement is owed.
• State fees, fingerprints, credit reports, bonds and the licensing processor are paid separately. They are set by the state or the provider and can change.
• What you pay the qualifier is between you and the qualifier. We take no part of it.

The written agreement you sign with us sets out these terms in full. If anything here differs from that agreement, the agreement governs.

For qualifiers

Qualifiers pay QualiFind nothing, to apply or at any point after. You sign your own agreement with us, separate from the contractor's, and you decide whether to work with any contractor we introduce.

No going around us

A contractor and qualifier introduced through QualiFind agree not to work together without us for 24 months after the introduction, directly or through another company or person, except where they already had a relationship and told us within ten days. The signed agreements set this out in full.

Checks are not guarantees

We verify identity, check public records and read the qualifier's license on the state record. These checks support the introduction. They are not a guarantee, certification or endorsement of anyone.

We do not guarantee that a suitable qualifier will be available, that either side will agree to proceed, or that any application, permit, project or contract will be approved.

What you send us

When you send us information, documents or a voice message, you give us permission to use them to answer you, check your details and make an introduction, as described in our Privacy Policy at getqualifind.com/privacy.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Florida law. If a dispute arises, we will first try to settle it through mediation. If that fails, it goes to the courts of St. Johns County, Florida.

Changes

If we change these terms we will change the date at the top. The version in place when you sign an agreement with us is the one that applies to it.
